What if you woke up and Southern Savy Mom was gone?
On Jan 24th, Congress will vote to pass SOPA in the Senate, even though the vast majority of Americans are opposed. Wikipedia will be blacked out today as a protest against SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) as well as many other sites will be blacked out today. Facebook, Twitter, Google, Amazon, Ebay, and many of your favorite bloggers If all these sites are down it would really put the American people on a halt, especially those who work online and use paypal as their source of income.
I have a video here showing the effects of this bill trying to be passed.
So what does this mean for my site and other sites if SOPA passes? I would not be able to post anything Like Walgreens or CVS or photos of any other company because of CopyRight Laws, I couldn't even use the term "CVS" without getting sued. You can learn more about SOPA HERE.
How can you get involoved? You can Email your Senate HERE.
Email your Representatives HERE
You can also go here and sign a petition google has out HERE.
